In just a week, a lifetime’s worth of inexplicable stimuli is presented in Black Rock City, Nev. All 50,000 temporary residents prepare well before the event in hopes of contributing just an ounce of their own to the collective spirit known to most as Burning Man.

Sierra Nevada College Art Professor Russell Dudley and Gallery Coordinator Logan Lape fundraised and planned months in advance to ensure Project Overlook’s success on the playa. Below is a discussion with the artists regarding on-the-spot revisions, working conditions and an unexpected pitch with the wind.

    Savannah – very nicely put together piece. I’ll link to it on the blog – I have no idea if this would be possible, but it would be great if the audio slideshows could be embedded in other blogs/web pages.
